Service providers

Transparency about the services behind the scanner.

RetireTax Scan Pro currently relies on a small provider set for authenticated access and hosted delivery. This page identifies those providers, their role, and the case-data boundary.

Authentication and account management

Clerk, Inc.

Information involved

Advisor account identifiers such as email address and user ID; authentication credentials and recovery information; session, device, IP, cookie, and security-event information needed to provide and protect account access.

Case-data boundary

Clerk supports account access. RetireTax Scan Pro does not intentionally use Clerk as a repository for the manual case-entry fields or calculated case results.

Website hosting, application delivery, and infrastructure

Vercel Inc.

Information involved

Network and request information such as IP address, browser or device details, timestamps, page requests, performance, diagnostics, security signals, and other technical data used to deliver and protect the hosted application.

Case-data boundary

The current application performs case scoring in the browser and does not intentionally send the manual case-entry payload to an application database. Vercel may still process ordinary traffic and infrastructure logs under its services and policies.

Hosted annual subscription checkout, payments, and billing portal

Stripe, Inc.

Information involved

Billing contact information, payment-card and payment-method information entered directly into Stripe, subscription plan and status, transaction and invoice identifiers, billing address, tax-related checkout information when enabled, fraud and security signals, refunds, cancellations, and related payment records.

Case-data boundary

Stripe is used only for RetireTax Scan Pro membership billing. Manual scanner case fields, tax-return figures, account totals, calculated scores, and generated report contents are not intentionally sent to Stripe. Complete payment-card details are entered into Stripe's hosted checkout rather than the scanner.

Telephone number, call connection, and voice-call routing

Twilio Inc.

Information involved

Caller phone number, call-routing and device information, live audio needed to connect and transport the call, timestamps, duration, delivery status, and ordinary communications and operational records. RetireTax Scan Pro does not intentionally record these calls.

Case-data boundary

Twilio supports the RetireTax Scan Pro phone number and call routing. The phone channel is limited to general software questions, FAQs, and demo scheduling and must not receive client or prospect financial information, tax-return or account data, passwords, payment-card information, or professional-advice requests.

AI audio conversation for software FAQs and demo scheduling

Grok Assistant

Information involved

Spoken audio and other call content processed to understand the caller, generate audio responses, answer general software questions, and help schedule a 20-minute demo, together with related technical and operational information. RetireTax Scan Pro does not intentionally record these calls.

Case-data boundary

Grok Assistant is not intended for client or prospect information, tax-return or account data, passwords, payment-card information, billing or refunds, account access, privacy, security, compliance, or tax, legal, financial, investment, or insurance advice.

Online scheduling for the 20-minute product demo

Calendly, LLC

Information involved

Scheduling information voluntarily provided by the invitee, such as name, email address, time zone, selected appointment time, meeting responses, and ordinary device, network, cookie, and calendar-event information processed by Calendly.

Case-data boundary

Calendly is used for product-demo scheduling and is not part of the scanner's manual case-entry workflow or application case database. Invitees should not place client, prospect, tax-return, account, or other confidential financial information in scheduling fields.

Optional public-site visit and marketing measurement

Meta Platforms, Inc.

Information involved

When a visitor selects Allow measurement, the Meta Pixel may process public-page visits, page and referral information, IP address, browser or device information, cookies, and related identifiers used to measure website and advertising performance.

Case-data boundary

The Pixel is intentionally excluded from case-entry, report, account-registration, and sign-in pages. RetireTax Scan Pro does not intentionally send manual client case fields or calculated case results to Meta.

Optional public-site analytics, campaign attribution, and conversion measurement

LinkedIn Corporation

Information involved

When a visitor selects Allow measurement, the LinkedIn Insight Tag may process public-page URLs, referral information, IP address, browser or device characteristics, timestamps, cookies, and related pseudonymous identifiers used for campaign reporting, website audiences, and conversion measurement.

Case-data boundary

The Insight Tag is intentionally limited to selected public business-to-business product and advisor-education pages and is excluded from case-entry, report, account-registration, sign-in, and legal-policy pages. RetireTax Scan Pro does not intentionally send manual client case fields, calculated case results, Calendly invitee details, or account credentials to LinkedIn.

Not currently enabled

The current application code does not intentionally include a session-replay product, customer document-upload processor, or customer document-upload processor. Before additional analytics, support, email marketing, monitoring, document upload, or another provider is enabled, this page and the Privacy Policy should be updated to identify the provider and purpose.

Provider changes

Providers and their practices may change. Their own agreements and policies govern their services. Listing a provider does not claim that RetireTax Scan Pro independently holds the provider's certifications.
